Nerve Study Testing
ELECTROMYOGRAPHY (EMG)
During your initial health assessment, one of our doctors may recommend nerve study testing in the form of electromyography (EMG). Electromyography provides further information about muscles and nerve cells to give us a more detailed picture of nerve function (or dysfunction). The results may reveal a nerve disorder or other serious issue.

If EMG is recommended for you, one of our experienced doctors will perform the testing by using equipment to mimic the normal path of electric signals in the body. That way, we can see how long it takes your body to send signals to the nerves.
SCHEDULE EMG
Common symptoms prompting this testing include numbness, muscle weakness, and more. If one of our doctors recommends nerve study testing for you, please speak with your doctor about what to expect. Call us
